Eco German Kitchens Founder Natalie Ivashkina Featured in Kitchen & Bath Design News
Bellevue-based luxury kitchen designer earns national industry recognition for a sophisticated Edmonds kitchen combining modern European design, natural warmth, and German craftsmanship.
BELLEVUE, WA — Natalie Ivashkina, founder and principal designer of Eco German Kitchens, has been featured in Kitchen & Bath Design News, a national industry publication covering kitchen and bathroom design, for her exceptional work on a luxury residential kitchen in Edmonds, Washington.
The feature, titled “Modern Kitchen Showcases Warm Elements,” highlights Natalie’s approach to creating sophisticated, highly functional interiors that blend contemporary architecture with inviting materials, thoughtful details, and timeless European aesthetics.
A Distinctive Approach to Luxury Kitchen Design
With more than a decade of experience, Natalie Ivashkina has established Eco German Kitchens as a destination for custom German cabinetry and personalized kitchen design in Bellevue, Seattle, and surrounding communities.
As a European-trained designer and NKBA Universal Design Specialist, Ivashkina brings together artistic vision, technical expertise, and an understanding of how people live in their homes.
Her philosophy is simple: no two kitchens should ever be alike.
Rather than relying on standard layouts or repeating popular design trends, she approaches each project individually, considering the home’s architecture, the client’s lifestyle, and the relationship between beauty and everyday functionality.
An Edmonds Kitchen Recognized for Its Design Excellence
The Edmonds kitchen featured in Kitchen & Bath Design News demonstrates Natalie’s ability to create an interior that feels architectural and contemporary without sacrificing comfort and warmth.
The homeowners envisioned a clean, modern kitchen that would connect naturally with the surrounding living spaces while supporting everyday cooking and entertaining.
Ivashkina developed a carefully considered layout to improve circulation, maximize storage, integrate appliances, and create a greater sense of openness.
The design balances strong architectural lines with warmer elements, resulting in a kitchen that feels refined, welcoming, and distinctly personal.
The project features custom cabinetry manufactured in Germany by Ballerina Küchen, a renowned German cabinetry manufacturer represented by Eco German Kitchens.
European Craftsmanship Meets Individual Design
As an authorized Ballerina Küchen specialist retailer, Eco German Kitchens offers clients access to premium German cabinetry, innovative storage systems, sophisticated finishes, and extensive customization possibilities.
Under Natalie’s direction, the company has developed a portfolio encompassing luxury residences, kitchen renovations, bathroom vanities, walk-in closets, home offices, and commercial interiors.
One of the company’s notable projects is GIS Plaza in Downtown Bellevue, where Eco German Kitchens provided custom cabinetry for 12 residences and three penthouses, including kitchens and bathrooms.
The project was also featured by the Bellevue Downtown Association, further highlighting the firm’s contributions to the region’s luxury design landscape.
Natalie continues to expand her design knowledge through ongoing European industry education, studying emerging technologies, materials, and innovations in contemporary cabinetry.
For Natalie, luxury is not simply about expensive finishes or impressive appearances. It is about proportion, quality, thoughtful functionality, and creating spaces that remain beautiful and relevant for years to come.
National Recognition for a Bellevue Design Studio
Being featured in Kitchen & Bath Design News represents another important milestone for Natalie Ivashkina and Eco German Kitchens, bringing attention to the studio’s distinctive approach to luxury kitchen design.
From intimate residential renovations to large-scale multifamily developments, Ivashkina continues to demonstrate how European design sensibility, German engineering, and an individual creative vision can transform everyday spaces into exceptional interiors.
